Statkraft Group at a glance

What we do
At Statkraft, we develop and operate renewable energy assets within hydropower, wind, solar, gas and biomass, supply district heating and buy and sell energy. We do all this in ways that keep the air clean so that our children stay healthy, our winters stay cold, and our planet’s future stays bright.

A sustainable future
We contribute to a more sustainable future by bringing clean energy to industries, businesses, communities, and homes around the world. We do this by investing 100% of our growth entirely in renewables.
We strive to always conduct our business in sustainable and responsible manner, actively contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Our strategy
A carbon free future requires three things: a diversity of renewable energy, smart strategies to manage them effectively, and profitability. Making this possible – at scale, inclusively, and by continuing to innovate - is what Statkraft does best.
Our strategy is therefore to find the best opportunities in renewable energy within each country, across technologies. Renewable energy can’t be part of the solution. It must be the solution.

Our values and principles
Our values define, unite and drive us in our mission to lead the shift to renewable energy. Our values are:
We act responsibly
We are considerate, always aware of how our work will impact our colleagues, customers, society and the environment.
We grow together
We're one Statkraft, always. We bring our expertise, recognise the value of diversity and learn from every situation.
We make an impact
We take on the challenge, focus on what matters and deliver smart solutions that drive positive change.
Our Code of Conduct explains how our values guide our decisions, helping us act in a sustainable, ethical and socially responsible manner and comply with all applicable legal requirements wherever we operate.
Our Code of Conduct applies to all companies in the Statkraft Group and all of those who work for and with us.

125 years of renewable energy
We have been making clean energy possible for over a century, long before climate change was a crisis. It’s a foundation that began with hydropower in Norway, and expanding globally to harness a diverse and flexible supply of water, wind, sun, and biowaste.
